‘CSI’ Season 10 Episode 6: Death and the Maiden
Posted by: | Comments“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” will see the CSIs discovering that two apparently unrelated crimes are actually parts of the same twisted revenge plot. The preview says that the November 5 episode will be “unforgettable” and that there are three confessions and three suspects.

On related news, a new series of game based on the show is now available for Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360 and PC. “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation: Deadly Intent” will have five cases to solve which plots are all written by the writers of the actual show. Players will find out later that all cases are tangled in one unique storyline.
“CSI” has spawned other game titles before this but “Deadly Intent” would be the first to feature Dr. Raymond Langston, the character who joins the show’s tenth season following Gil Grissom’s departure. As usual, players can help the other detectives’ investigations and gain their respects as well as analyze crime scenes with the uber technology.

Promo of ‘CSI: Trilogy’ Released
Posted by: | CommentsCBS has begun airing the promo for “CSI: Trilogy”, a crossover event that will take place in the second week of November. Dr. Raymond Langston from “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” will appear in the show’s spin-offs, “CSI: Miami” and “CSI: NY” to solve a crime with one red string attached.

Beginning with a “Miami” episode, the crossover starts when Horatio finds severed leg which belongs to a girl who went missing in Las Vegas earlier that week. He summons Raymond to come to Everglades, Miami where the body part is found.
Then on “NY episode”, a woman whom Raymond interviewed while in Miami pops up in New York, hidden in a big rig following an accident. Together with Mac Taylor, Raymond is unraveling a case of an interstate trucking ring that specializes in human cargo and black market organ harvesting. Mark Sheppard from “Battlestar Galactica” has a guest role in this episode.
The string ends in “Las Vegas” episode where Raymond goes to a prostitution ring in Las Vegas that may harbor the missing young girl taken a hostage as part of human trafficking operation.
“Bone Voyage“, “Hammer Down” and “The Lost Girl” will air on November 9, 11 and 12 respectively.
First Look Into ‘CSI’ Mega Crossover Event
Posted by: | CommentsThe sneak peek to the major crossover that the “CSI” franchise will do in November has been given in the form of promo pics. As reported in August, Laurence Fishburne’s Raymond Langston from “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” will visit the other two shows, “CSI: Miami” and “CSI: NY“, during special one-week event.

The crossover begins on the November 9 episode for “Miami” called “Bone Voyage“. Horatio Caine calls Langston to come to Miami when a severed leg found in the Everglades is discovered to belong to a girl who went missing in Las Vegas a week earlier.
The second part takes place on November 11 for a “NY” episode called “Hammer Down”. Langston rushes to New York when Det. Mac Taylor and his team identify a woman hidden in a big rig following an accident as someone he interviewed in Miami related to his missing person’s case. Though the woman disappears after the accident, Langston and Mac discover they’re onto an interstate trucking ring that specializes in human cargo and black market organ harvesting.
The third and final part lands as the “Las Vegas” episode called “The Lost Girl“. Langston’s continued search for the young girl taken hostage as part of the human trafficking operation leads him to investigate a prostitution ring in Las Vegas that may harbor the missing woman.

CSI – Crossover Details
Posted by: | CommentsCBS is planning a “CSI” extravaganza for November sweeps — star Laurence Fishburne (Dr. Raymond Langston) will appear in all three scene-of-the-crime shows in one week, and the whole thing wraps up on the flagship “CSI” on Nov. 12. Mild spoilers about the episodes follow.
Langston will first visit “CSI: Miami” on Nov. 9; he travels south in an episode titled “Bone Voyage” to investigate a case with ties to Las Vegas. Fishburne and “CSI: Miami” star David Caruso are pictured at left; perhaps Langston and Horatio Caine are talking about cool sunglasses, which Langston is still sporting when he arrives in New York on Nov. 11 (Fishburne and “CSI: NY” star Gary Sinise are pictured at right).
In that “CSI: NY” episode, “Hammer Down,” according to CBS, “a big-rig accident results in the discovery of an interstate trucking ring that specializes in human cargo and black-market organ harvesting, and sets off a race against time to save a hostage.”
The three-part crossover concludes on Nov. 12 on “CSI.” In that episode, viewers will learn more about what Langston is investigating: “a nationwide human trafficking network that abducts young girls forces them into prostitution,” according to David Weddle, who penned the episode with his writing partner, Bradley Thompson.
Ubiquitious guest star Mark Sheppard, who played Romo Lampkin on “Battlestar Galactica” (a character who knew a thing or two about shades), has a guest role in that Nov. 12 “CSI” episode. Sheppard, who has a credit list as long as your arm and apparently by law must appear on every scripted show in existence, also appears on USA’s new show “White Collar” Oct. 23 and “Supernatural” on Nov. 19.
‘CSI’ Sneak Peek: Just One Photo From “Working Stiffs”
Posted by: | CommentsYou know I usually make a slideshow when new photos from an upcoming episode of CSI (and, obviously, all the other shows I cover) come out. But anyone who’s done a slideshow on BuddyTV know the rules: you need to have at least three slides before you can make one. Unfortunately, for next week’s episode of CSI, the folks at CBS only gave us one.
So I decided we’ll just have a little bit of fun and make up a caption to this image. Nothing’s at stake. Just a bit of fun. This photo, by the way, if for next week’s episode, named “Working Stiffs”–and involves a case of office politics gone wrong. Really wrong.
Let’s put it this way. Two people who work at the same place decide to rob a casino. Sounds bad already, right? But something worse happens in the end, and I’m guessing it’s a murder, because the team will be investigating a murder. Seinfeld’s Wayne Knight will be a guest star in this episode.
Now for the photo, because seeing Laurence Fishburne look like this is a bit funny:

What do you think is happening? Does Langston know anyone past those doors? Why is Nick rapping? Okay, he isn’t rapping, but you get my idea. This episode of CSI airs October 15, from 9pm, on CBS. That’s how I’d end the slideshow if this was a slideshow.

Jorja Fox Returns to CSI
Posted by: | CommentsThe CSI cat was let out of the spoiler bag weeks ago:
Jorja Fox will reprise her role as Sara Sidle for at least five episodes this fall.
CBS has released a few photos from the drama’s September 24 premiere. Below, get your first look at Sidle back on the scene, including her introduction to the new man in charge, Dr. Raymond Langston:

‘CSI’ Laurence Fishburne to Crossover to ‘Miami’ and ‘NY’
Posted by: | CommentsAnnounced via CBS’ Twitter is a major crossover between “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and its spin offs. Laurence Fishburne’s Dr. Raymond Langston will be the character from the original series who will make a visit to “CSI: Miami” and “CSI: NY“. No word on other characters.

The crossover is scheduled to take over within 1 week this Fall, but it is still unknown in which week it will take place. “Miami” will be the first to premiere, entering the eighth season on Monday, September 21. It is followed by the sixth season premiere of “NY” on Wednesday, September 23 and the tenth season of “CSI” on Thursday, September 24.
Langston is the character brought in to the Las Vegas version to anticipate the loss of William Petersen’s Gil Grissom. The transition was not so much a success but the network is making some changes that hopefully will be better appreciated. Jorja Fox is invited back to the show to reprise her role as Sara Sidle.
Another plan is to change the wardrobe of Langston. If previously he was seen in suits with his glasses on, the character will lose it all in future episodes. “I think what you’re looking for is wardrobe that reflected him being more comfortable in his environment,” CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler said. “I mean, he came as an outsider coming in, so his clothes – you know, he was in suits, he was a little stiff, he wore his glasses.”
Lauren Lee Smith: Leaving CSI
Posted by: | Comments
As one star returns to CSI, another is leaving the lab. Producer Naren Shankar told TV Guide Magazine that Lauren Lee Smith won’t return as the character of Riley Adams in the fall.
“She’s not going to be back for Season 10,” he said. “It was an issue of how we were feeling the ensemble was working. When we brought in the character of Riley, it got lost in the shuffle a little bit because we had lost Warrick, we had lost Sara, and then in the middle of last season Grissom finally left. I think, as a result, the character never quite found its footing in terms of the rest of the gang.”
As the result of Riley’s exit, a slot will be open for Sara Sidle (Fox), who is now ready to return to work after her burnout in season eight.
“She shows up because the team is understaffed,” said Shankar. “The undersheriff reaches out for a recommendation and Sara says, ‘I think that person might be me.’”
Sidle will appear on at least five episodes, and Shankar assures fans that the character wll be featured prominently during this time.
